Mit einem Gewicht von nur 1,4kg ist der ruggedized Tablet PC Getac E100 einer der leichtesten robusten Tablet PCs auf dem Markt. Der ruggedized Tablet PC Getac E100 ist durch seine einfache und vielseitige Benutzerbedienung für alle Kundenanwendungen genau das richtige Gerät. Trotz seines schlanken Auftretens steht der ruggedized Tablet PC E100 den "Großen" in nichts nach. Der rugged Tablet PC E100 erfüllt den Militärstandard MIL-STD810F und die Industrienorm IP54 und ist damit Bestens gegen Schmutz, Staub, Wasser, Shock, Vibration, Hoch- und Niedertemperatur geschützt.

Der rugged Tablett-PC E100 bietet ein transmissives 8,4" Display mit integrierter TouchScreen-Bedienung. Optional ist ein Ultra-helles sonnenlichtlesbares, 800 Nits (cd/m²) helles, LCD-Display für den ruggedized Tablet-PC Getac E100 erhältlich.

Der Outdoor-Tablet-PC E100 arbeitet mit einem stromsparenden aber trotzdem leistungsfähigen Intel® Stealey Prozessor mit 512KB L2-Cache bei 800MHz und bietet damit bis zu 5 Stunden Akkulaufzeit. Der full ruggedized Tablet PC E100 hat einen 1GB großen Arbeitsspeicher, eine Anti-Shock gelagerte Festplatte und ein full ruggedized, vibration- und fallsicheres Magnesiumgehäuse. Integriert im Getac E100 ist eine 802.11b/g WLAN-Karte und ein V2.0 Bluetooth-Modul. Optional sind integrierte WWAN-Optionen wie EV-DO or GPRS/EDGE oder GPS fur den full ruggedized Tablet PC E100 erhältlich.
